David wanted to be an astronaut. He had seen the space shuttle on TV. He knew that astronauts had gone to the moon and come back to Earth. Every night he looked out his bedroom window at the stars and dreamed about exploring. He remembered the nursery rhyme. Twinkle, twinkle, little star How I wonder what you are.
